ContactHSX Interface
Interface with an efficient microcontroller for the communication with control units using a personal computer.
Applications
The HSX Interface can be integrated into tool chains that are based on the new MVCI standards PDU-API / PASS THRU.
Hence the interface can be used not only with samtec software but also with other diagnostic applications that conform to the norms. Due to the multi bus design diagnostic tasks can be simultaneously executed on several bus systems. Very high data throughput and precise time synchronization enable the analysis of control unit networks with high speed buses like FlexRay.
Further implementation areas include rest bus simulation, usage as gateway in car and automation environments.

Versions
In all versions (except Heavy Duty), the HSX is equipped with 2 x CAN, 2 x LIN or 2 x K-Line, SD-Card-plug-in, diagnostic-sided 26-pole MDR- socket; PC-sided USB-port. Optional it is expandable with CAN- and FlexRay-channels, adapter-top (Break-Out-Board) with banana plugs (signal implemented). It is available in various package sizes:
- Package size S: 143 mm x 113 mm x 39 mm.
It is not extendable with additional boards. - Package size M: 143 mm x 113 mm x 54 mm.
It is extendable with up to 2 additional boards. - Package size L: 143 mm x 113 mm x 85 mm.
It is extendable with up to 3 additional boards. - Package size XL (Break-Out Board): 143 mm x 113 mm x 84 mm. It is extendable with up to 2 additional boards.
