Equipped with a wLAN encryption according to WPA2-EAP and 3 Ethernet ports the wLAN-High-Performance module could be fully integrated in your company network.

Applications

With the brand new wLAN High-Performance module from samtec you can communicate with the HSX interface and additionally three end devices over Fast-Ethernet. For example, you can directly embed a notebook to analyze the data. The wLAN module works in „Bridging Mode“, thus all devices are directly connectable.You do not have to change your network settings.

By supporting the encryption standards WEP, WPA and WPA2 and the transmission standard IEEE 802.11 a/b/g the integration in common wLAN environments is possible. The transfer rate is up to 54MBit/s. In addition to WPA-PSK and WPA2-PSK the EAP-TLS (Enterprise Security) with X.509 certificate is supported. A length up to 2048 Bits is available. 

Hence integration in modern wLAN infrastructures is possible.

The available profile management affords an easy rotation between your different locations. You can configure via DHCP the connected devices dependent upon the location. If required you are able to activate these devices by Wake-on-LAN for example for the event „ignition on”. This wLAN High-Performance module is configurable via web browser.

Alternatively, it may also be integrated without HSX interface as a pure wLAN Bridge.
