Standardised Data Exchange Format for the Automotive Communication.

FIBEX (Fieldbus Exchange Format) is a data exchange format based on XML for comprehensive communication systems e.g. vehicle electrical systems in cars; it has been approved by the ASAM e.V. FIBEX contains information such as, amongst others, configuration-parameters, topology, schedules, frames and signals in order to describe an entire and complex vehicle electrical system of a car.
