OTX (open test sequence eXchange format) (ISO 13209) is an international standard, which is created by the working group of ISO. The standardisation process was initiated by Daimler AG and Volkswagen AG.

The ambition is to place a language for vehicle diagnostics that enables graphical illustrations and clear descriptions of the diagnostic sequences in order to ensure a successful implementation. The standard should become extensive enough to replace proprietary solutions in development, production and customer service. The fundamental technology for OTX is XML.
