Controlling of communication directly within the interface.

The samtec Block sequencer controls the communication flow and is script enabled. The action and reaction of the interface in a network can be programmed with the help of script functions. These scripts can then be downloaded into the interface and can be run as a stand alone device with complete functionality.

The blocksequencer consists of send and receive blocks that are automatically executed depending on tester or simulator function. This in turn helps realize extremely small reaction times and hard real time requirements.

PC independent usage of the interface as stand alone device. 

After applying the supply voltage the behaviour of the interface is controlled by the internal script. Afterwards also external trigger events can be integrated into the process. This way automatic testing routines, rest bus simulation and flashing process that need to run independent of the PC can be executed. Typical stand alone applications such as an integrated automobile network gateway can be easily realized.
